Community official Paul Thomas will be taking part in a Dawn Walk in support of the Samaritans as part of World Mental Health Day – 10th October.
Paul, who is a Regional Secretary in our AA Section and a Health and Safety, Equality and Union Learning Rep, said:
“I’m taking on Dawn Walk this October by walking 5K at sunrise to help make sure there’s someone there for anyone who needs someone. This year, it’s not just a walk; it’s a celebration of World Mental Health Day, in solidarity with those struggling to cope.”
Every ten seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help. The charity is here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. You can find full details of how to contact Samaritans here.
