Mental health learning

Community has long been invested in supporting our members’ mental health, and helping to create better workplaces for those suffering from or at risk of mental ill health.

We offer several courses to help you better understand mental health. Community can deliver:

  • Mental health briefings that; are short and informative, help identify issues, discuss and explore issues, provide excellent resources.
  • Two day awareness course that: act as an introductory course, helps reps deal with workplace issues, provides strategies for dealing with mental health issues, raises awareness, helps identify signs and symptoms, and helps you to produce an action plan.
  • Accredited certificate as a follow on from the two day course that: looks at mental health in the workplace, promotes wellbeing, goes into relevant legislation and policies, helps you to develop skills that are required to act on behalf of workers who are experiencing mental health issues.
  • We can also run webinars designed to meet your particular needs.
