In Memoriam – Yvonne Johns

It is with sadness that we remember Yvonne Johns who sadly passed away at the end of August.

To many in Community and formerly Voice and PAT, Yvonne will be fondly remembered through her service to members as Council members, Welsh Executive and National Chair. Yvonne was passionate about the work she did in schools and colleges across Wales, and through the ‘First Feet Forward’ charity initiative, to children across the world.

Yvonne leaves a strong legacy as a real powerhouse within Community. She will be sadly missed.

 

Funeral notice:

Funeral service at St Therese R.C Church, Abergele on Friday 20th September at 12:00 noon followed by an interment at Mill Lane Cemetery, Cheadle on Monday 23rd September at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only please but donations if desired in memory of Yvonne will be gratefully received towards Diabetes UK Cymru c/o R. W. Roberts and Son, Plas Tirion, Kinmel Avenue, Abergele, LL22 7LW. Tel: 01745 827777. Donate in memory of Yvonne: Donate Now
